I grew up in Wichita Falls, TX where I began playing softball at age 4 and pitching at age 6. I was invited to play with elite travel ball teams from age 12 and began spending my summers traveling all over the US playing and learning more and more about the sport I love! I have competed and placed in top 6 regional and national brackets. During my freshman year, I tried out for varsity and made the team at a 5AA high school. After my graduation I had to relocate from TX to Clemson SC. Clemson did not have a softball team, only a club travel ball team that plays in all the major pre-season tournaments. I was offered a position by them to pitch, play short stop and first base. I have also worked at several clinics instructing youth pitchers from ages 7-18. Currently- I am the head coach at Riverside Middle School in Greenville SC, and I coach with the Carolina Thunder travel ball organization as well. Recently in January this year I was invited to try out for the Germany Hamburg nights, it was definitely a blast getting back in shape for that! I believe in order to be a great teacher and instructor you must always remain a student of the game. I attend seminars and classes frequently to make sure my techniques are up to date. I am an ASA Certified coach and have obtained my CPR/ First aide certifications for maximal safety. I am an active member of Renovation Church in Simpsonville SC and enjoy serving the teenage girls at my church by co-teaching youth small group, and mentoring them. I also am in the women's discipleship program and spend time mentoring younger women as well. I am a wife of 9 years and a mom of 2 incredibly amazing sons.
