Summer Training Day 1 ✅

Linear Speed Development and learning the running mechanics that help athletes move faster and more efficiently.

We worked on proper sprint posture, arm action, knee drive, dorsiflexion, and foot strike to improve force production and reduce wasted movement. Athletes learned how efficient mechanics lead to better acceleration, greater speed, and improved overall performance.

Speed is a skill, and today was all about building the foundation.

Great work by everyone who showed up ready to learn and compete. 💨🔥

GBE SHOUTOUT to my Lone Oak Buffalo crew for putting in serious work the summer of 2k25 at GBE Sports Performance & Fitness and showing out all of 25-26 💪🏾🔥

Dalton, Carter, Hudson, Lawson, and Hunter minus a couple!

These boys showed relentless determination day in and day out by pushing through multiple workouts, sharpening their speed, quickness, and overall performance. No shortcuts, just pure grind in the Heat of the day. 🥵☀️

And it paid off. Their hard work showed all year long, finishing at the top of the district across middle school and youth sports.

GBE Shoutout to Ethan Soto

Some athletes fold when adversity hits… Ethan Soto isn’t one of them.

After an early injury slowed the start of his track season, Ethan could’ve taken a step back; but instead, he leaned in. He stayed locked in, trusted the process, and kept fighting for what he believed in no matter who doubted him.

He came to GBE ready for a comeback and that’s exactly what he delivered. In just a matter of weeks, he dropped his 400m time from 59 seconds to 55 seconds. That’s not just improvement… that’s determination, discipline, and grit on full display.

Ethan’s story is proof that setbacks don’t define you; your response does. And he responded like a competitor.

Keep working. Keep climbing. This is just the beginning of what you’ve been believing from the start!! Time to start chasing 52 seconds or faster and we believe it’s coming in Hot!! 🔥🔥

GBE SHOUTOUT to 8th grader Arron Hernandez

Arron puts in serious work on both sides of the Football field, playing Offensive Line and Defensive Line for his school. Recently, he’s been coming through GBE focused on leveling up his speed and dialing in his running mechanics to improve his 100m and 200m times for track.

What stands out most is his competitive mindset. Whether it’s football, track, Jujitsu, or soccer; Arron doesn’t just show up, he competes. He pushes himself, attacks every rep, and is always looking for ways to get better.

Arron showed up ready to work every time! The dedication to sharpen his technique and get faster showed with him dropping his 100m time from 13 seconds to 12.6 seconds and his 200m time from 30 seconds to sub 28 seconds within 1 package of workouts!

Keep grinding, Arron! Looking forward to seeing him on the field next year 🚂🚂

She is the definition of determination in motion. Dropping her 400m time from 1:03 to almost 58 seconds isn’t just progress; it’s a statement. And the most exciting part? She’s not done yet.

What sets Zoie apart isn’t just her talent, it’s her mindset. She embraces every challenge thrown her way, attacking even the toughest workouts with purpose and grit. Where others see exhaustion, she sees opportunity. Where others hesitate, she pushes forward because she knows there’s always something greater waiting on the other side.

Zoie competes with heart, trains with intention, and carries a quiet confidence that speaks volumes.
