Everything moves towards chaos.

It's easy to see when you don't clean your dishes.

For example, if I don't do a midday clean in our kitchen, by dinner it seems hopeless.

So entropy moves fast in our kitchen.

It's the same for your health and fitness.

Entropy is always working against us.

Stop eating healthy meals -> you don't feel great.

Stop working out -> you lose strength and muscle.

The list goes on.

The only way to counteract entropy is to consistently pour positive energy into a system.

In this case, the system is your health, body, and mind.

When you pour into these 3 consistently with positive actions, your life begins to change.

The right actions, leveraged with the right amount of force, can change your life.

Here's 3 that changed my life permanently:

- Sitting in silence for 5 minutes daily
- Lifting weights 4x a week
- Eating wfpb 90% of my week

Can you do more? Sure. I also do the same. But overwhelming yourself isn't the goal here.

That's the difference between short-term health results and high-performance health results.

It's why I built the ZH5 Method.

5 health pillars.

One main outcome.

If self-mastery isn't your main objective, that's fine. But if you're a high performer over 40 who knows time (and life) is limited, this is for you.

Spinning your wheels and staying frustrated for years is no longer acceptable.

What worked in your 20s and 30s isn't feasible anymore.

So working harder isn't the answer for your health.

But creating better systems and standards can improve your health for life.

To create self-mastery in your body and mind while giving you a health foundation for life.

I'll pass on the 90-day fixes and weight rebound.

Permanent solutions are what I care about.

Most people think fitness is a sprint.

It's not; it's a marathon made of sprints.

The 10-80-10 Rule:

- 10% of time, you’ll be ahead and in the top 10% of people doing very well.

- 80% of time, you’ll be pretty consistent, but overall, making solid progress.

- 10% of time, you’ll have low points where things will be tough and struggle with consistency.

Awareness is the first step to change.

Being aware of where you are right now allows you to make better decisions with your health.

When you're focused on your health and goals, you’re likely in the top 10% of those doing well.

Being aware allows you to pivot.

Constraints can be a good thing.

When you know you only have a certain amount of time to work out, meal prep, and do your morning routine, adjust.

Don’t fall into the all-or-nothing trap like most people.

Instead, pivot based on what season you're in.

The main goal is to never turn the dial off.

You can raise it (focused season) or lower it (busy season), but never turn your health dial off.

If it’s on and you know which season it is, adjusting is easy.

Cancer is a tough subject.

But there's a lot you can do with diet and lifestyle.

Does it guarantee 100% success?

Not in every case. But it certainly improves your chances of healing and reclaiming your health.

Lifestyle and diet are two of the biggest risk factors for colon cancer (and most cancers, for that matter).

If someone I loved had colon cancer as my grandfather did, this is what I would share with them.
