HEMPFIELD AREA SIDELINE CHEER TRYOUTS

Calling all athletes entering 7th–12th grade for the 2026–2027 school year! Join us for sideline cheer tryouts and become part of the Hempfield Area Cheer program for the upcoming season.

Tryout Schedule
* June 30 – Tryout Practice
* July 1 – Optional Practice followed immediately by Tryouts

Parent Meeting
* A mandatory parent meeting for all grade levels will take place following practice on June 30.

Before Attending, Please Complete the Following:
1. Upload a current physical to FamilyID
2. Join our Google Classroom.

3. Learn the fight song and sideline cheer. Videos of the material are located in the classwork section of the google classroom.

Virtual Tryouts
Virtual tryouts will be available only for athletes who will be traveling out of town during tryouts. Conflicts with work, other sports, camps, or local events will not qualify for a virtual tryout. Hempfield Area Competitive Cheer Tryouts

Open Gyms: March 23 & 25
Tryouts: March 26 (immediately after school)

Scan the QR code on the flyer for all required steps and tryout information.

While competitive tryouts are taking place first, athletes planning to try out for sideline only should still join the Google Classroom. You can begin learning the tryout material and read through the tryout FAQ form, which helps explain the 2026 tryout process. We will continue updating the FAQ form as questions come our way.

Joining Hempfield cheer means building confidence, strength, leadership, and friendships while being part of a hardworking team that pushes each other to grow. Athletes must currently be in 8th–11th grade.

While tryout dates are being finalized, please complete the following:
