Caldwell's coming off an impressive first-round finish in his debut back in October –– and now he wants more.

Saturday, April 15, at the Hollywood Casino at the Meadows, he gets his chance in this 220-pound catchweight throwdown.

And Miller is more than ready. Training under Tommy Costa and the crew at High Ground Jiu-Jitsu in Greensburg, Miller is adapting his wrestling background for MMA in hopes of making a splash in his fighting debut.

Next Saturday, June 18th, Evan will be teaching a Leg Lock Seminar at High Ground in Monroeville. He will be covering some of my favorite leg attacks, as well as good defense from different leg entanglements, with a Q&A portion afterward to try and answer any questions you guys have about these positions.

The seminar is donation-based, with a $20 minimum donation. All proceeds are going to our teammate Edwina's mom who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

All gyms are welcome, so feel free to spread the word!

This morning Prof. Tommy Costa went over inside ties to go along with a duck under. Last we drilled scissor sweeps paired with a trap and roll on the other end.

Lately we have had some new faces on the mats at both of our locations. Thank you to all the new members to put their trust in High Ground Jiu-Jitsu!

Tomorrow morning's nogi class (February 19th) in Greensburg is canceled due to an event going on hosted by Veteran Bushido Brotherhood.

Classes in Monroeville will remain as scheduled. Go and support local veterans! There will be some fun Jiu-jitsu AND some CJJ.

What a great showing for tonight's Monday evening gi class!

Prof. Tom Grove went over the differences and details of the pendulum sweep and the Flower sweep. Lastly, details on finishing the collar choke from mount after both of these sweeps.
