The 2026 PA Summer Games did not disappoint! 3 days of nearly perfect weather, great competition and a lot of excitement 😎

Team Westmoreland was out there representing with 3 sports, 48 athletes and 20 coaches/volunteers.

We can’t thank ALL of our coaches enough and are so extremely proud of the athletes. Job well done!

There were a lot of smiles and laughs, some dancing and a lot of medals 🥇

Our next shout out to our incredible coaches goes to Coach Don and Coach Jessica!

Both have attended 3/4 each of the overnight events multiple times taking place at Penn State, Villanova and York. They go above and beyond for any athlete. They have also taken on HOD roles.

Not only traveling throughout the state they also have been part of our management team since 2018. Coach Don is also a unified partner to their son JW for bowling/bocce.

Coach Jessica is currently coaching swimming, bowling and bocce. Over 9+ years of coaching experience. Thank YOU!

Our next shout out to our incredible coaches goes to Coach Marie and Coach Joe.

Coach Marie and Coach Joe are by far two of our most dedicated coaches, literally! They have attended ALL the overnight events multiple times taking place at Penn State (10+ times), Villanova, Seven Springs and York 🎳. They go above and beyond for any athlete and every event.

Not only traveling throughout the state they also attend regional and sectional events as well as at the local levels. Coach Marie is also a mentor to her son Alex as an athlete representative. Coach Joe has served as our HOD at multiple of the overnight events.

Coach Marie is currently head coaching snowshoe, bowling, track and bocce! She has also head coached swimming. Over 25+ years of coaching experience. Thank YOU!

Coach Joe is currently head coaching long distance run/walk and assistant coaching bowling, bocce, track and alpine skiing. Joe has also helped with swimming and a cameo appearance for basketball. Over 15+ years of coaching experience. Thank YOU!

We are going to be giving a BIG shout out to all of our most dedicated coaches/volunteers over the next month or so. A few at a time 🥇

First up we have Coach Jenny and Coach Danielle. By far two of our most awesome and dedicated coaches! Both always energetic and motivational. Always bringing the positive vibes 😎. Both willing to go above and beyond for any athlete.

Both coaches have attended state, sectional, regional and local level events. Both coaches are willing to step up at practices for any sport!
