A portion of The Connection Trail on either side of Barachel Lane will be temporarily closed off and on as we work to bring a little more color and creativity to the trail.

A local artist will be working on a new mural along the trail, and weโ€™re excited to watch this piece of public art come to life!

While the mural is being completed, please avoid this area when possible and use an alternate route. Weโ€™ll continue to share updates as work progresses.

We apologize for the temporary inconvenience, but we think it will be worth the detour when you see the finished mural!

Thank you for your patience and support as we beautify The Connection Trail.

Looking for a leadership opportunity in a fun, fast-paced sports environment? Join the team at Decatur County Parks & Recreation as our Concessions Operations Supervisor at the Decatur County Youth Sports Complex!

In this role, you'll lead concessions staff, oversee daily operations, help create a great experience for athletes and families, and keep things running smoothly during tournaments and special events.
