What a weekend for Greensboro Pride!

Celebrating 20 years of Pride in Greensboro with our community was something special. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Stonewall booth, took photos with us, cheered us on, and celebrated alongside us.

And an extra thank you to our members who volunteered their time and energy throughout the day. Stonewall Greensboro continues to grow because of the people who show up for one another.

Love wins. Love is love. And community is everything.

🎉 Fundraiser Results! 🎉

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported our fundraiser!

Together, our community raised $490, and Stonewall Sports Greensboro contributed an additional $110, bringing our total donation to $600! 🏳️‍🌈💙

We also collected essential physical donations to support the shelter and those they serve.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, participated, shared, and helped make this fundraiser a success. This is what our community is all about: showing up for each other and making a difference together.

Greensboro Pride is almost here, and we need your help at the Stonewall Sports booth.

We’re looking for current and former Stonewall players to volunteer for a 2-hour shift, connect with the community and help introduce more people to Stonewall Sports Greensboro.

As a thank-you, volunteers will receive 50% off their next sport registration. Water and snacks will also be provided.

WE’RE BRINGING BACK THE REMIX!

All players will register as free agents and be placed on a team once registration closes. Players will also rank themselves during registration to help us create balanced teams.

Want to captain a team? Leave a note in your registration!

You may request one person, but they must also request you for the request to be honored. Daisy-chain requests used to build a full team will not be accepted.

REMIX is a chance to meet new people, build new friendships and play alongside teammates you may not have met before.

Over the years, our readers have included not only drag queens, but also drag kings and nonbinary performers. We wanted a name that better reflects the wonderful diversity of the people who volunteer their time to share stories with our community.

Rainbow Readers celebrates the amazing individuals who make this program possible, represents the many identities and expressions among our readers, and reflects our ongoing commitment to creating welcoming, affirming spaces for everyone.

While the name is changing, the heart of the program remains the same: bringing people together through stories, creativity, acceptance, and community.

Rainbow Readers will still be hosted by Stonewall Sports Greensboro.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this program over the years. We cannot wait to continue sharing stories with you as Rainbow Readers.
