Country Club Malt Liquor out of a two-door garage with a dirt floor. Caffey became the largest volume Miller distributor in 1995 with the acquisition of Carolina Premium Beverage of Charlotte. Several acquisitions in recent years helped consolidate our spot as one of the top 25 Miller, Coors and Pabst distributors in the country. Caffey Distributing Company and Carolina Premium Beverage came together when the former acquired Southern Wholesale of Charlotte in 1995, which had itself joined forces with Cunningham Wholesale in 1940 and Rudisill Enterprises in 1975.
