The Greensboro Cultural Arts Center opened the doors to Ruiz bringing this project to life with his first workshop in September of 2012. BALLET FOLKLORICO MEXICAN TRADITION- a celebration of the traditional music and dance of Mexico! Our mission is to build greater awareness and understanding of Latino culture through the arts, and to bring unity to our diverse communities through the beauty and
fun of traditional Mexican music and dance. Julio Ruiz with a distintive carrer as a dancer, choreographer and director of more than eighteen years gives the opportunity to the community to be part of this mission at our weekly workshops open to the public at the Greensboro Cultural Arts Center, where we work really hard to build artistic ambassadors one dance at a time. Nuestra Misión es crear mayor concientización y entendimiento de nuestra cultura Latina atreves de las artes, y de traer más unión a nuestras comunidades diversas atreves de la hermosa música y danzas tradicionales mexicanas. Julio Ruiz con su distintiva carrera como bailarín, coreógrafo y director de más de 18 años ofrece la oportunidad a la comunidad de ser parte de esta misión en el centro de artes de Greensboro en los talleres semanales abiertos al publico, donde trabajamos arduamente para construir embajadores artísticos , y ser el enlace para traer un poco de nuestra hermosa cultura mexicana
