Congratulations to Ying & Sarah for competing at the 100th Annual Mid Atlantic Figure Skating Championships NQS in New York, NY! Ying placed 1/17 with 32.80 points in Championship Preliminary Girls Free Skate - Group A. Ying also had the highest score of all 3 Preliminary Girls groups! Sarah placed 1/15 with 44.28 points in Championship Intermediate Women Short Program - Group A (with the highest SP points of all 3 Intermediate Women groups) & Sarah placed 1/15 with 67.80 points in the Championship Intermediated Women Free Skate Group A (with the highest Free Skate points of all 3 Intermediate Women groups). WAY TO GO YING & SARAH!

We're thrilled to announce that BodyArmor State Games of NC Figure Skating Competition (3/19-3/21/27) hosted by SFSC and GIH is part of the 2026-27 National Showcase Series!

US Figure Skating Announces Showcase Series:
We are excited to launch the first ever National Showcase Series in the 2026-27 season. This is a competitive opportunity for athletes looking to qualify for the National Showcase competition, held annually in August. The 2027 National Showcase event will be held July 27-31 in Norwood, Massachusetts.

Congratulations to Ying Z & Sarah D for competing at the 2026 Potomac Memorial Open NQS. Ying placed 1/7 with 31.14pts in Championship Preliminary Girls Group C (and had the second highest score out of all 4 Preliminary Girls Groups). Sarah placed 1/15 with 44.36pts in the Championship Intermediate Ladies Short Program Group D (with the highest SP score out of all 4 Intermediate Ladies groups). Sarah placed 2/15 with 56.43pts in the Championship Intermediate Ladies Free Skate. Way to go Ying & Sarah!
