Michael Johnson is an 8th Duan Grandmaster in Chinese martial arts and the 38th Generation Chief Inheritor of the Wei Family lineage. He is the founder and head instructor of Cloud Forest Martial Arts, a private club based in Greensboro, North Carolina, and serves as President of the Cloud Forest Chin Woo Association and the College of Martial Sciences.

Michael teaches a comprehensive curriculum that includes traditional Kung Fu, Combat Ju Jitsu, Sports Ju Jitsu, Tai Chi, Shaolin Wushu, and the internal arts of Neijia, with a focus on practical application and lineage preservation. He is one of the few authorized to teach the Royal Bodyguard Dim Mak System, which he integrates into a tactical training structure using his proprietary SHOCK, STRIKE, and FLOW systems—designed to bring clarity and effectiveness to the art of Dim Mak.

He is currently co-authoring "Dragon Seeks Path: Dim Mak Martial Science Revisited" with Professor Rick Moneymaker—a groundbreaking work that explores the martial, scientific, and energetic dimensions of Dim Mak for the modern warrior.

Outside the training hall, Michael is also a visionary entrepreneur. He developed Tournament Nynja, an app for martial arts tournament management; launched Crafted Spirit, a store offering martial arts gear and digital courses; and founded Rogue Alchemy, a performance supplement brand tailored for martial artists and longevity seekers.

Through his work, Michael continues to bridge ancient traditions with modern innovation, mentoring the next generation of martial artists, healers, and leaders with integrity and purpose.
