A family-friendly vacation spot...in your own neighborhood! Private swim lessons are offered by Red Cross-certified lifeguards.

The Club has THREE pools, including a large 6 lane 25 meter swimming pool with
plenty of free fun-space, a diving/deep zone with 2 diving boards. We also have a fenced in children's wading pool with a beach front entry and a mushroom water fall.(this pool is no deeper than 2 feet. Our "leisure pool" has in pool seating so that you may enjoy watching a friendly game of pool volleyball or basketbal

l. (Deepest part is 4 feet) SESC offers plenty of tables with umbrellas along with ample shade for those that want it. Many chairs and chaise lounges are available as well on our large deck for sunning on our many beautiful NC summer days. Our Southeast TigerSharks are a competitive summer swimming team that
compete in the Greensboro Community Swim Association League. Southeast Swim Club is family-oriented and offers a variety of social functions
throughout the season. These include Family Days, 4th of July Celebration, Music
Days, and more with games and music, and other special parties and events for
adults and children. We open the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and close Labor Day.

Thank you all for a great summer. Yesterday was an epic ending to an epic summer. From watching our Tiger Sharks swim their way to an undefeated season, competing in the ever popular trivia & music bingo,celebrating our country’s 250th SESC style, too many storms to count and heat indexes we want to forget. It was a great summer and I thank you, the members for being a part of our gem of a pool. I’ve loved watching our young families welcome new little ones. Our wading pool is going to be busy with 1 year olds next summer!!! A huge shout out to the guard staff who stepped up to the plate and took on more responsibilities, became leaders and would have each others backs when shifts needed to be switched or taken. To the girls in the box “concessions” you all are the best! You kept those slushies slushing and the pretzels salty and sweet. You all sold it all out this weekend and that is a first in a very long time. And finally to the BoD, thank you for trusting me and allowing me to be a part of this pool. I believe in the reason this pool exists and love watching the friendships made and seeing former child members return with their own children. The best memories are made within our fence. I hope you all have a wonderful fall, fabulous holiday season, a quick winter and early spring. We will see you May 2027 for another summer of memories. -Tommie Lynn

The pool has power, water and outlets. I know so many of us are without all those things and passable roads.
We will open at 11:00am.

Thankfully we only lost 1 umbrella and our friend sitting at the table had moved. We gave it our best effort today though. I hope you enjoyed the almost 3 hours of pool time. Hoping all of our friends are safe and did not have too much damage. It varies from area to area. Looks like PG got hit hard.
Stay safe SESC. We will see you tomorrow. We open at 11:00am.

I know we have several physical therapists among us but do we have any Occupational Therapists or do any of you know someone local?

I have dreaded this day since May. Today was our Katie’s last day at SESC. There are not enough words to describe what this young lady means to not only me but so many of us. I was so excited she decided to come back for one more summer after graduating in May. I mean there’s no rush to start really adulting is there? How fortunate were we she put her career on hold for a few months! Katie has been instrumental in making our facility so great. I adore her and can not imagine a summer without her. I know many did not know today was her last day and maybe didn’t have time to say goodbye but you certainly can in the comments. Katie will be moving back to Wilmington where she will begin her career and new chapter of her life. Katie we wish you nothing but success and happiness. We hope you’ll come back & visits us next year! Your SESC family will always be cheering for you!

Wishing all of our students and teachers a happy first day of school. I want to send big hugs to our teachers in the concession stand, Brittany, CJ & Dana. Thank you for working during this first week of work days and open houses. I appreciate you all so much. To all of our teachers; thank you for all you do. None of us would be who we are without the teachers in our lives. We thank you.
To all of my guard staff; I love you and I hope you have a great day especially my sweet seniors; Logan, Brittyn, Heath & Leo. I hope your senior year is fabulous.
We will see you all next weekend starting on Friday when we open 3-8.

We have 3 Sundays left in our glorious 2026 pool season. Weather is going to be beautiful. We open at noon and will close at 7pm. (Our staff need to get home to pick out their first day of school outfits!!) 😜

Our last Trivia is tonight, Saturday Aug 22. Games begin at 7pm. Guests are $5 starting at 6pm. Get your teams and creative team names together and come have a blast with the best trivia hosts. Bring extra towels for the kiddos if needed. The mushroom and diving boards will be closed at 7pm so everyone can hear but all pools will be open.
