What a great day celebrating Mother’s Day at the dojo!

Our students had a blast bringing their moms onto the mat and showing them some of the techniques they’ve been learning — punches, blocks, kicks, and holds. The moms jumped right in with relay races, kicking drills, punches, and even board breaking!

A few pool noodles definitely went flying during the kicking drills 😂 and some of the moms absolutely crushed the board breaking levels!

Most importantly, it was a day full of laughs, teamwork, and great memories with our dojo families.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a fun event. We’re already looking forward to doing it again next year!

This past Friday and Saturday, our dojo gathered for Kyu Rank Testing.

Friday evening, our adult students stepped onto the mat with focus and determination. Strong stances, sharp technique, and disciplined spirit were on full display.

Saturday, our kids followed with great energy, demonstrating the skills they’ve worked hard to develop—solid basics, controlled technique, and the confidence that comes from consistent training.

Testing is an important step in the martial path. It reflects not only skill, but effort, respect, and perseverance.

Congratulations to all who tested. Keep training.
