These cards, in $ value, aren’t significant.
The power of thought behind these cards are PRICELESS!!!
Too often too many people snicker at the big dreams that people, especially kids, have. It is true that there a MILLION reasons why something won’t happen and the odds aren’t in your favor.
BUT SO WHAT?!?!
GREATNESS is not achieved by those that dare to dream small or play it safe.
Coach B jumped at the chance for his boys to spend some time with these amazing athletes. Each one has been on a path to GREATNESS…
Each one has heard the whispers but chose to do the work. Each one has been hit with many reason “why not” but instead chose to GRIND on the dreams of “what if” instead.
Jaycie Phelps chased her young dreams, won an Olympic gold medal, and is one of the best athletes to have roots in Greenfield.
Alex Shackell grew up in a family where greatness was a daily lesson and expectations were big. As a high schooler, she won Olympic gold and set a WORLD RECORD. She is now a part of why Indiana is secretly one of the leaders in the swimming community.
Braylon Mullins stayed true to his roots even when the path would have been easier for him to leave his home during high school. As a result, he has had what many would consider the greatest high school career at GC and is primed to continue to chase his dreams at UCONN and beyond.
LEGACY is important…
GREATNESS is an expectation….
Thank you to these athletes that not only inspire future generations, they also take the time to talk to them, work with them, and challenge them to grow :)
The ones that have done, and are currently doing, are the ones that are the quickest to lift others up. They are the quickest to find a way to help. They are the ones that’s help others to dream bigger.
So are you spending your days lifting others up or tearing others’ dreams down?
What does that say about you as a person?
