Hope everyone is enjoying the snow and enjoying family time this time of year. Jiujitsu is that one sport that doesn’t have an off season. Part of your development on the mat takes place during a long rest and recovery. Our bodies as well as our mind need a break in order to improve When you finally return to the mat, and you must return, a new perspective and curiosity awaits. In the meantime, rest, recover, stretch, heal, and enjoy the break. See you on the mat in 2026.

With the closing of the gym being officially completed now we can transition our group into the Roadhouse jiujitsu club. This will allow us to stay in touch with all things jiujitsu and competition related. Feel free to post your accomplishments and stay in touch with each other’s progress.

💥 The Final Roll at The Roadhouse 💥

Tonight marked our last class at The Roadhouse Jiu-Jitsu & Boxing Academy. Multitudes of past and present students showed up to celebrate our team, our accomplishments, and the new chapters ahead for so many of us.

Over the last three years, more than 300 students have stepped onto these mats to begin their jiu-jitsu journey. That number represents so much more than just training — it’s courage, community, discipline, and growth.

I’m beyond thankful for every student, coach, parent, and teammate who made The Roadhouse what it was. You’ve all left your mark on these mats and also on me.

This isn’t goodbye… it’s simply the next step on the journey.

What we found together was so much more — a family that learned to fight, to fall, to grow, and to get back up again.

I’ll never forget the countless rolls, the breakthroughs, the kids who grew stronger not just on the mats but in life. Every student I had the privilege of coaching left a piece of themselves here — and took a piece of The Roadhouse with them.

As we all step into new chapters, my heart is full of gratitude. What we built will last far beyond these walls.

Thank you for being part of the journey.
This was more than a gym. It was home. ❤️

At The Roadhouse Academy, we absolutely love our 4- and 5-year-old students! ❤️

It’s incredible to watch their confidence grow and their fearlessness shine on the mats.

We’re excited to announce that we’re planning a new program just for this age group — designed to help them develop coordination, athletic ability, and a strong foundation in movement and focus.

Classes will feature:
🥋 Fun, small-group interactive games
💪 Athletic development, base, and balance
🥊 Introduction to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and boxing skills

Our goal is to build confidence, discipline, and a love for fitness from the very start!
