📚 Roald Dahl’s MATILDA THE MUSICAL JR.! 📚

Matilda JR. is the story of a smart and brave little girl with extraordinary powers. At home and at school, Matilda faces adults who treat children unfairly. With the help of books, her teacher Miss Honey, and her own courage, Matilda learns to stand up for herself and others.

We will be offering silver cord hours tomorrow morning at 8:30am in the high school auditorium. This is also great opportunity for any incoming freshman interested in drama to get to know our musical directors and upperclassmen that will be there. We hope to see you tomorrow!

The drama department is offering Silver Cord hours next Tuesday, July 14. Time is still being determined. We will be moving and organizing our stage area after some summer renovations have been completed. Please reach out to Mrs. Ernst or Mrs. Miller if interested.

2 hours till show time! Bella and Melanie have had the most amazing experience being a part of the Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards! They are the final act of the night, so make sure you stay tuned till the end!!

Huge congratulations to juniors Bella Day and Melanie Kilborn on being selected to perform in the finale medley at the Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards on Thursday, May 28! 🌟🎭

Yesterday marked the first of their three rehearsals as they began learning the music and choreography for the closing performance. We are so excited for these talented students and this incredible opportunity to perform alongside musical theater students from across the state of Iowa! 👏✨

WOW! We are blown away by the amazing, almost SOLD OUT crowd we had last night. The continuous laughter and applause kept our energy flowing. We’ve been hearing rave reviews, and we still have one more show to put on tonight!

Tickets are still available! We’re hoping for another awesome crowd to help us close out not only this fantastic show, but also the 2025–2026 drama season. Our final performance starts at 7 PM, with auditorium doors opening at 6:30 PM.

Invite your family, friends, or even a stranger you see at the grocery store to come out and see the show. You won’t be disappointed 🎭

TONIGHT!!
Tickets will start being scanned at 5:45pm with the doors to the auditorium opening at 6:30pm. There will be a 10 minute intermission during the show.
We are so excited for you all to experience this show with us! We have said it 100 times, but we promise you this is one you don’t want to miss!
