LHS HOMECOMING 2025 PARADE INFORMATION
⚽️THIS FRIDAY | September 11th, 2026⚽️

***THIS IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL!!!!
You DO NOT have to participate if you're not interested.

Our soccer club has been given the opportunity to walk in the LHS Homecoming Parade again this year!!! COACHES must coordinate with their team if they are participating and coaches will provide details if you are riding in a truck/trailer, or walking the parade route. WE DO ENCOURAGE PARENTS/VOLUNTEERS TO WALK WITH OUR KIDS!!

Here is some information that was shared by LHS about the event coordination:

- WE CAN START LINING UP AT 5️⃣:0️⃣0️⃣ PM
***Drop-off/Line up will be on High Street, in front of the Library. Parents can park by Icehouse/L'Burg Library to drop your athlete off and please walk them to their Coach/Team. If a parent would like to walk or ride with their athlete please communicate that with the Coach. ***We recommend parents park over by GMS where you will get your child, unless you want to walk back over to downtown L'Burg after the parade.

- THE PARADE WILL BEGIN AT 6️⃣ PM
(The parade will start by The Lawrenceburg Event Center and travel east on HIGH ST. to WALNUT ST. to Lawrenceburg High School).

⭐️REMINDER: After you cross US 50 onto Tiger Blvd., you MUST continue to the GMS lot to unload. YOU CAN NOT STOP to drop off by the Main Plaza/Football Field!

🌟Participating Coaches will plan to stay with the kids at the GREENDALE MIDDLE SCHOOL PARKING LOT (Tennis Courts) until they are picked up by their parents.

***MAKE SURE ATHLETES ARE WEARING THEIR SOCCER JERSEYS!!! If you want to bring candy to hand out, please do!!

***Please make sure athletes have plenty of water, or Coaches please have a water jug for your team!!! Kids go through water quick, so please be prepared.

***Please make sure we are not throwing candy into the crowds, a little toss to the ground is good!!!

📣 CALLING ALL LGSC Soccer Players that want to show some TIGER PRIDE 🐯

The LHS Football Homecoming Parade is coming up this Friday, September 11, 2026....if you and your team would like to be a part of this fun event, please let us know!

If your team is planning on being in the Parade, please note that you will need to either have a truck/trailer, or be fine with walking the route. We also ask that any teams/players that are participating in the parade to please wear your LGSC Soccer Jersey!!

⚽️ LGSC PLAYER SAFETY COMES FIRST ☀️🌡️

We know our players want to be on the field playing soccer, and we want them out there too. However, with the heat index expected to reach triple digits during normal training times throughout this week, we need to make player health and safety our priority.

For this week, we are asking all teams to move outdoor training sessions to 7:00 PM or later, (with extra water breaks) when conditions should begin to improve.
Teams may also choose to find indoor training space and hold their regularly scheduled sessions inside.
We understand that changing training times and locations can be inconvenient for players and families, and we appreciate everyone's flexibility.

As a club, we believe adjusting the schedule is in the best interest of the health and well-being of our players, volunteer coaches, and trainers.

Thank you to everyone for working together to keep everyone safe while still finding opportunities to train. ⚽️

We are so excited to announce that we will be using FOXFX Photography this year for our SAY and Premier Team Photos!

FOXFX Photography will be giving our athletes a taste of what it's like to have a "Media Day Experience". Since we're soccer players, photos will be held outside at the LGSC Fields! You will find the pricing/pose packages listed below, and please know that these will be digital photos, unless you order Memory Mates, Banners and/or Magnets.

Coaches will be scheduling pictures for their teams and parents will be notified by them once those are in place. Pictures will take place over several days in between September 14-24th, 2026.

***Please make sure when paying our Photographer via Venmo you include the athlete's name, number, and team name. When paying check/cash, please have in an envelope with the athlete's name, number and team name on there. This will help keep things organized for everyone involved!!! Thank you.

Strong home opener Tsunami Girls Soccer Club. Way to bring the wave!

Our girls hosted their first league game of the season this morning at our home field. The girls battled for the win, ending the game 4-3.

Congratulations to our offense for intentional passing and our defense for holding the line. Our goalie Caroline also had several crucial blocks and saves during the game.
