Just another reason to love fjords! When our neighbor called about a mule foal that was rejected and had spent time at the vet clinic Joline said challenge accepted! This young mare will soon be 4 and weaned her c**t several weeks ago. She was still making milk and is allowing this sweet soul to nurse. We are still supplementing with bucket milk while Joline’s supply increases. No drugs involved other than domperidone to boost milk production.

Herd reduction means this lovely filly is ready to put under your Christmas tree! 🌲“Gina” is a sporty type - who is an athletic, uphill mover - that should be a standout in the dressage ring. She is great minded, highly trainable, and wise beyond her young years.

Clips, ties, bathes, trailers, stands well for farrier AND has been lightly driven earlier this year in a team. No known vices, lives in a mixed herd outside. Stands about 13.2+ right now, but will likely grow a little more. She may be pony size, but she will take up a lot of leg and suit most small/medium height adults.

Currently, Gina is in training and will likely have her first ride under saddle in the next week or two. She can sell with additional training time so she can be started under saddle before you bring her home - or bring her home now and start her your way.

This wonderful mare is ready for someone looking for a long term partner to excel in the dressage arena. Started under saddle earlier this year, Darby has the temperament and trainability to be a perfect partner for an amateur rider looking to bring a pony up the levels in the dressage arena. She is schooling solidly at training level, with the potential to easily work her way up the levels. Great minded, highly trainable, and absolutely suitable for an amateur or experienced junior rider.

Darby is an excellent option for someone who maybe doesn't want a huge horse, but still wants to be competitive in the arena. She will also happily trail ride for those looking for that type of versatility.

Other details - Clips, ties, bathes, lives outdoors in a group setting or mares and geldings, never had or needed shoes. No known vices. She has never been lame a day in her life. Rides in a D-ring snaffle. Rides English and western. Currently in training. Does not need daily riding. Does not have to be lunged prior to riding. No buck or rear. Our last foal of the year was born yesterday. It has been a rough foaling year for us. 3 of our 5 foals had problems and we ended up losing one. 2 c**ts and 2 fillies. We will be taking a breather in 2026. We still have 3 fjord mares and 2 c**ts available.
