Not the best weekend at Chapel Hill, TN. Rule 19 finished 5th and 14th after having engine get knocked out of phase. Bucket List finished 11th and 10th. Good thing is nothing is broke which was first suspicion. Congrats to both Anna Mangan and Taylor Corsa on both grabbing the wins this weekend, as well as being their first Grand National wins both. Now to see what to do on the off week……maybe make a pulling visit somewhere new.

Back home from Macon, MO from the Show Me Showdown Truck and Tractor Pull. Bucket List finished 6th both nights, Rule 19 finished 9th and 13th. Congrats goes to Rob Foster on winning last night and The Holman Brothers for winning the belt for the overall weekend. Special shoutout to the entire Lewis Family and volunteers that help put on the pull. World class facility, hospitality, track, and support. It truly is a destination pull to go to for both pullers and spectators. Everyone should mark it on their calendars for a “must go” pulls to experience. We already have our sights on winning that belt and bringing it home next year.

Well after 3 years we finally got it to the track. Made a respectable finish of 5th tonight at TNT pulling in Shelbyville, KY. A big thanks to the TNT crew for putting on a great pull and helping us out with a slight unload mishap when we broke the fuel shutoff valve. TNT Truck & Tractor Pull

Mike Chastain was a great competitor, ambassador of pulling, but most of all a great friend. One of the most influential leaders to help shape and grow the sport of truck and tractor pulling will be truly missed.

Honoring the Life and Impact of Mike Chastain

Fairfield, OH – (March 6, 2026) – With sadness, the IHRA Pro Pulling Series recognizes the passing of Mike Chastain, former Series Director for the Pro Pulling League, who passed away Friday, March 6th, 2026 after a lengthy illness.

Chastain’s career in motorsports extends well beyond the leadership role with the PPL where he played a critical role in the formation and subsequent leadership of the sanctioning body in 2006. An accomplished puller in his own right, Chastain claimed wins in the Modified Four Wheel Drive Truck division with his “Spellbound” Chevrolet on the sport’s biggest stages, including the National Tractor Pulling Championships in Bowling Green, Ohio and National Farm Machinery Show Championship Tractor Pull in Louisville, Kentucky. He would later guide his son, Clay, to a national pulling championship in the Super Modified Two Wheel Drive Truck class.

Off the track he was a leader, innovator, and a friend across the breadth and depth of truck and tractor pulling, cultivating relationships that helped the Pro Pulling League to become the largest truck and tractor pulling sanctioning body in the world.

We join Chastain’s friends and loved ones in prayer and reflection in this moment of grief and loss.
