Path Valley Recap: RDH Motorsports ventured to Path Valley Speedway last Saturday for the East Coast Legend Series race. After missing the last two features by just ONE SPOT, we knew we had to do something different to stay relevant in the Rookie of the Year points championship. So, based off the advice from Moses Goetz (who we are going to call our official crew chief), we took off the Billstein shocks and put on AFCO Shocks, which we acquired from Austin Bellemare (3) and Moses (1). This was the first time we've ever competed on AFCOs on dirt. Boy, did that car ever respond! It looked like a different car. We've never seen our car handle so well at Path Valley! Eric Moats said he could tell a big difference in the car from weeks past. Eric is doing a great job in our car! He finished fourth in his heat, which put us in the top-half of the starting line-up for the A-Main. Moses suggested a chassis adjustment on the right front after the heat. Bingo! It worked! Eric drove a great race in the feature...even challenged Moses for the top-10 with four laps to go. We slipped back a couple spots and came home with a great 12th-place effort!! This moved Eric from 5th to 3rd in the Rookie standings and placed us 14th in the overall East Coast standings!! We needed this! Hated to see our friend, Kelby Friese, involved in a bad wreck. Glad he is going to be okay. Linda's Speedway canceled for Friday; now, we are waiting to see what the weather does for Lincoln Speedway, Saturday. We will keep you posted. We couldn't do this without Moses...we have his throttle body on the car and one of his Afco shocks, and he helps us a lot on the car. Our great partners are Friese Motorsports, DL Friese Transportation LLC and Farner's Racing Collectables. Thank you all for the support. (Photos by Teal Beard/wrtspeedwerx)

BAPS Motor Speedway recap: RDH Motorsports ventured to BAPS Motor Speedway for just the fourth time since 2021. Thirty-four teams signed in for the East Coast Legend Series race. Eric did a great job in his heat. We were up to third at one point. And like the prior week at Path Valley, Eric RACED three-wide, two-wide and nose-to-tail in his heat....he passed cars. Unfortunately, he was passed for the final transfer spot on the last lap. In the B-Main, he finished just two spots out the transfer spot. Last week at Path Valley, we were the first car to miss the A-Main. As Eric said, "So close but yet so far away." We are currently fifth in the Rookie points. Had we been just one spot better, which would have put us in the A-Main the last two weeks, our calculations show us that we'd be in the Rookie points lead by two points. Uggghhhh! This is the first time we've ever run for points. The last two weeks, we've been in extremely competitive heat races where Eric RACED his butt off. Frustrating that our pill draw put us in very racey heat races while I know that we would have made it into the A-Main a little easier if we had been in other heats based on what we've seen. We guess that's just the way it goes. Sometimes, its just luck of the draw as to which heat you're in. Eric says he's having a blast and the car is running great, Eric is driving great and the car is in one piece. That's the main thing. We will dust off and head to Path Valley Speedway, Saturday. As always, special thanks to DL Friese Transportation LLC, Friese Motorsports and Farner's Racing Collectables for their great partnership. Thank you to Brent Shue of Checkered Flag Media for this great action shot at BAPS.

Getting set for East Coast Legend Series action tonight at BAPS Motor Speedway! Our team has been in existence since 2021, and this is only the fourth time we've competed at BAPS. While BAPS is a great facility and good for the Series, I never felt like our RDH program was a good fit as I've always felt that BAPS was the Daytona/Talladega of Dirt Legends Racing. Three visits prior: One ended in a wreck, one ended with a broken driveshaft, and the only time we qualified for a feature, we finished around 22nd/23rd....BUT, for the first time ever we are racing for points and trying to get Eric Moats Rookie of the Year. So, it's time for the team ownership to face its fears tonight, get out there and see what we can do. Wish us luck, tonight. Special thanks to Farner's Racing Collectables, Friese Motorsports and DL Friese Transportation LLC for all their great support. Let's do this! (Photo by Kevin Chapman/wrtspeedwerx)

Path Valley Speedway Recap: Wow, what an emotional roller-coaster day for us in East Coast Legend Series action at Path Valley, Saturday. First, our driver, Eric Moats did a great job for just his second Legends race. He had great speed with the car; showed good car control, raced for position; raced three-wide at Path Valley, had fun and brought the car home in one piece.

So, what were the results? He finished sixth in his heat, they took five...he finished fifth in the B-Main, they took four. During the B-Main, he raced three-wide with Ben Morrow and Shjon Dove for two laps and they never touched ..there is video to prove it! Great job, Ben, Shjon and Eric...but, yep, we were the first car to miss the show. But that's not the funny, quirky part of the day. Nope!

Get this: Prior to the B-Main, we learned that Moses Goetz, who had already qualified for the feature, was not going to start the feature due to an electrical issue on his car. So, we knew that if we finished 5th, we'd still make it into the A-Main by virtue of being first alternate. Eric finished fifth, so we started preparing the car for the feature...only to be told that they fixed Moses's car during the B-Main. Haha!

Oh, well. We watched the feature from the OTHER SIDE of the fence. All good, we are fourth in Rookie points as we continue our quest to run for points and Rookie of the Year for Eric! Off to race at BAPS Motor Speedway, Saturday!

Special thanks to DL Friese Transportation LLC, Friese Motorsports and Farner's Racing Collectables for all their great support.

Getting set for today's East Coast Legend Series race at Path Valley Speedway! We expect a very healthy car count, so qualifying for the A-Main and bringing the car home intact will be the main goals. After one race at Wi******er, Eric sits third in Rookie points, just one point behind KJ Massey in second. There is a 19-point difference between making the field and not qualifying, so again, getting into the A-Main would be a Victory. We have to start at the rear of the heat today, due to the Series Rookie rule (approval process), but at least most rookies are in the same boat. We will do our best. We thank Farner's Racing Collectables , DL Friese Transportation LLC and Friese Motorsports for their partnership. See ya later today at the Little Track with Big Action!
