Path Valley Speedway recently added several loads of fresh, new clay to the Speedway's surface in preparation for the 2027 racing season. Path Valley is owned by John Winsett and is promoted by Dr. Zach Crouse. The Speedway, located in Spring Run, PA, currently plays hosts to INEX-Sanctioned Legends racing through the East Coast Legend Series.

Twenty loads of fresh sifted, gifted clay is headed to the speedway today as we prepare for the 2027 racing season!

Legends Cars racing this past Saturday at Greenwood Valley Action Tracks in Orangeville, PA received great coverage from The Press Enterprise - Serving Bloomsburg, Berwick, and Danville, PA and On The Fly Photo! Eric Moats picked up his career-first Legends victory. This page serves to promote INEX Legends-sanctioned racing. Whether Greenwood elects to bring in the East Coast Series, or secure its own INEX sanctioning in 2027, this page was told by the promotional team at Greenwood that the Speedway plans to play host to Legends Car competition in 2027. Which tracks do the readers of this page feel should secure the East Coast Series, secure its own INEX sanctioning or do a mixture of both?

Wow, in the last four days, this page has received nearly 24,000 views! And, did ya notice that former East Coast Legend/Central PA Legends Series owner, BAPS Motor Speedway owner and Lincoln Speedway co-owner, Scott Gobrecht, clicked the like button when this page announced that Greenwood Valley Action Tracks would be playing host to Legends racing tomorrow (Saturday)! Thank you, Scott! We think Scott "gets it", as this page does also. Greenwood, its location, its reputation, etc., could prove to be one of the best enhancements to the Legends class that Pennsylvania has seen in a very long time. Saturday (Greenwood's first-ever Legends race) is not the time to be concerned about purse, registration fee, etc. The Legends industry has the entire off-season to determine how many races, if any, the East Coast Legend Series will have at Greenwood in 2027 or if Greenwood decides to acquire it own INEX sanctioning as well as what the purse and fee might be in 2027. Make no mistake about it..the one grievance this page hears from Legends drivers, above and beyond any other grievance, is that they want an option of more than one track to compete at on a given night in the Pennsylvania and the surrounding state area. Hidden Valley Speedway needs our support, Greenwood needs our support, all other new tracks coming on board, existing tracks who play host to the East Coast Series, and the INEX-sanctioned East Coast Series itself need the support of Legends teams. Let's go racing at Greenwood! This page thanks you for your support, and we will continue our plight to encourage INEX sanctioned Legends racing.

Historic Day set for Legends Car Action Saturday at Greenwood Valley Action Tracks!

Saturday's race at Greenwood will mark the first-ever appearance by the Legends Car division at the historic 1/5-mile high-banked clay oval in Orangeville, PA

Tiff Duffy, a member of the track's promotional team and daughter of Speedway owner, Gerry Cerveling, noted to this page that some fans have confused Legends Cars with the Dwarf Cars, a division that formerly competed at Greenwood.

She also noted that her father competed in Dwarf Cars, but there has not been a Legends Car divisional race at the Speedway in the tracks current configuration during the last 38 years.

This page sincerely thanks Tiff for her time, and for her and her father's willingness to add Legends cars to the racing itinerary for this Saturday.

The INEX-sanctioned East Coast Legend Series, based in Pennsylvania, published this press release today (Wednesday) indicating that the Series was not shutting down for the 2027 season.
This page is not owned, or affiliated, with INEX. The purpose of this page, as listed in the bio, is to promote INEX-sanctioned Legends racing in Pennsylvania and the multi-state surrounding area.
Whether a track chooses to play host to the East Coast Series, another Legends Series, or secure its own INEX sanctioning, is solely at the discretion of the individual track or Series.
This page has not, and will not, make any disparaging remarks toward any INEX Series or INEX-sanctioned race track, nor will it make any disparaging remark toward any unsanctioned Legends Series or Legends track.
As this page has indicated in prior posts, many Legends drivers have indicated that they wish to have a choice of more than one track to compete at on a given night in Pennsylvania, or any other state.
This page serves to promote the healthy growth of INEX Legends racing, whether it is with a Series or individual track.
This page is happy to answer any questions and provide information to any track, or Series, that desires to secure INEX sanctioning, but this page will not suggest to any entity as to what it should or shouldn't do. Again, those decisions are solely left up to the individual track, or Series.

Breaking News: It's official, Greenwood Valley Action Tracks has added Legends Car racing to its racing schedule for this Saturday, Oct. 24th!! Please see flyers below for more information!!

On Oct. 10, two tracks played host to Legends car racing on the same night in Pennsylvania! This was the first time since 2024 that two tracks in the regional area conducted Legends racing on the same night. The two tracks on Oct. 10 were Hidden Valley Speedway in Clearfield and BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven. Hidden Valley ran an unsanctioned event while BAPS ran under the INEX sanctioning of a Pennsylvania-based Series. Brock Doyle (No. 22) won at Hidden Valley, and Kelby Friese (No. 21) won at BAPS. Hidden Valley owner, Dan Savino, plans to secure his own INEX-sanctioning for Legends car racing in 2027. Hidden Valley conducted three unsanctioned events in 2026, and BAPS conducted multiple INEX events with the Series. This page estimates that there are more than 90 Legends cars sitting in shops, garages, etc. in Pennsylvania, and that doesn't count the number of Legends cars that exist in neighboring states no more than an hour, or so, across the Pennsylvania border. The number of cars that exist in this region are more than enough cars to support two tracks running Legends on the same night in 2027. Several drivers have contacted this page expressing his/her desire to have an option of tracks on the same night in 2027. There is also a strong indication that Greenwood Valley Action Tracks in Orangeville is getting close to pulling the trigger to run its own Legends racing in 2027...and maybe once this October! What tracks would the reader like to see secure its own INEX sanctioning in 2027 whether with a Series or running its own INEX sanctioning? Yes, tracks may also run unsanctioned events, but there are MANY benefits to running under the INEX banner! Stay tuned for more updates!

Legends drivers and teams often contact this page expressing their desire to have options of more than one track to compete at on a given night. Well, (tomorrow)Saturday presents this opportunity! The Hidden Valley Speedway in Clearfield, PA and BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven, PA are playing host to Legends cars this Saturday night! It's the Mountain Top Small Car Nationals at Hidden Valley and the Fall Nationals at BAPS. It's the intent of this page to help boister the Legends division in Pennsylvania and surrounding states, as well as assist tracks with information to help those facilities obtain its own INEX sanctioning in 2027 in an effort to secure more Legends races throughout the region, which will benefit all teams, tracks, fans and Series!
