Congratulations to Chris Jones as our new Principal. Chris is a former Eagle Teacher who also coached football here under former head coach Troy Burgess and was also the Head Coach of our back to back 2011 and 2012 State Championship Softball teams. We look forward to having him lead our school.

Congratulations to Khalil Jefferson who has accepted an official walk on to play football at Indiana State University for this fall. He reports this week to begin training and will be unable to participate in the Wabash Valley All Star game later this month and the North/South All star game as well in July but will remain as an honorary pick for both.

A quote from him, “First and foremost, I want to thank my family, my coaches, and everyone who has supported me along this journey. Without your guidance and sacrifices, I wouldn't be in the position I am today. After a lot of thought and conversations with my family, I am incredibly blessed to announce my 100% COMMITMENT to Indiana State University! Let's get to work!!!”

A 4-year starter, a constant smile, and a player who always brought energy to the field. And yes… maybe a block or two just a little after the whistle. 😄

Preston also stepped up in a big way off the field, leading the charge in fundraising this season by raising BIG $ for our program. Thank you to all those that sponsored Preston over the years.
