ATTENTION!, all you pistol shooters, Saturday, February 22nd, is the next Hot Dog Shoot.
Registration at 8:30 and Competition starts at 9:30. Registration Fee: Lunch + 1 Event - $15.
Lunch + 2 Events - $25.
Lunch + 3 Events - $35.
Group Therapy - $5.
Lunch Only - $5.
This is the Fee Schedule we will have for all Hot Dog Shoots in the future.
There will be a 10 yd, 2 target Competition, a 20 yd, 1 target competition, "LITTLE", Chicken Little Silhouettes , and for the gamblers, Group Therapy.
The Pistol classes are, Open sights, Red Dot sights and Scope sights.
Medals will be awarded in each class, and 50% of the pot goes to the winner of Group Therapy.
This will be a busy, but fun filled day.

Quail Creek Saguaro Classic Invitational
March 27, 28, 2020
Join the Quail Creek Air Gun Club for a fun filled and exciting event in Southern Arizona’s beautiful Sonoran Desert. The Competition is limited to the first 26 shooters that sign up.
There will be three events, a 25-Meter, 3 Target competition, a 75 yard, paper target match, and Quail Creek Air Gun Club’s own silhouette competition, “Chicken Little”. You can shoot up to .30 caliber in the 75 yard event. Up to .22 caliber is allowed in Chicken Little, and up to.22 caliber in the 25-meter event. Registration includes, shooter gifts, and lunch at the range. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place medals and cash prizes will be awarded.
The Saguaro Classic competition will be held at our 26 Lane, Air Gun Range at 896 N. Campbell Avenue, Sahuarita AZ.

The Rifle Hot Dog Shoot is scheduled for Saturday, February 8th. Registration starts at 8:30, competition at 9:30. 25 Meter, 3 target competition, followed by Premium Costco Hot Dog Barbecue. After lunch a 4 round Chicken Little Silhouette competition. HV and Open/Unlimited Classes in 25 Meter, HV, Open/Unlimited in same class for Silhouettes. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Places. If there are at least 2 competitors in Springer Class for either competition, medals will be awarded. Registration is $35. Good weather and gentle winds, made for some excellent scores. The turnout was good, with some of the shooters using the new benches for the first time. The 10 yard target event was shot on the official 50 yard rifle target, which were scored with the Orion system. The 20 yard target was shot on the 75 yard rifle target and was scored manually. There were three classes in the paper target competition, Open Sight, Red Dot Sight and Scope Sight. The silhouettes were set up in the same order as the rifle competition, a Ram, Turkey, Pig and Chicken at each distance. This event is now called the LITTLE-Chicken Little! There are no classes in this competition. Now, to results

On Monday February 3rd, the Quail Creek Air Gun Club will be holding our Annual Meeting. The meeting will be in the Gold Room of the Madera Club House, from 1:00 to 3:30.
There will be a Review of 2019, Preview of 2020, Election of Board Members and a very important presentation, regarding a major change in status of our Club. All of the current Board Members have indicated their desire to serve for two more years. If any of our Members wish to run for a position, please let me know, so ballots can be printed. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting,

We will be holding a RIFLE Hot Dog Shoot on Saturday, January 11th. Registration at 9:30, competition begins at 10:00. $35 registration fee. Competition begins with 25 meter, 3 target, followed by 50 yard, 3 target. After the Barbeque lunch the always popular Chicken Little Silhouettes. 1/5 scale, ram, turkey, pig and chicken set up at 40, 50, 60 and 70 yards, 2 rounds, only 16 pellets allowed per round. A special event - Know Your Limits, $5 entry fee, winner paid 50% of pot. Checking the extended forecast, looks like the weather is cooperative. See you at the Range, Jack

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and are ready to compete in the PISTOL Hot Dog Shoot this Saturday Registration will start at 9:30 with competition at 10:00. The competition will consist of 10 yard paper targets, 10, 14, 17 and 20 yard silhouettes. There will be 3 classes in each event, Open Sights, Red Dot, and Scope. At this Shoot, the competitors with scopes will be setting up their silhouettes in the Chicken Little formation. A fun shooting game, Know Your Limits will be the final event. Registration fee: $35. We will be holding a RIFLE - HOT DOG SHOOT - Saturday, December 14th. Registration at 8:30, fee - $35.00. Match begins at 9:00 with the 25 Meter, three target competition. The next event is a 75 yard competition, maximum .30 caliber, caliber specific scoring. Silhouettes will be setup for the Chicken Little competition, then we'll break for lunch. After lunch the 2 round Chicken Little Silhouette competition will be completed. Immediately following the silhouettes, an event introduced at the last Hot Dog Shoot, KNOW YOUR LIMITS, will be held. Entry fee is $5.00 winner taking 1/2 the pot. Rules will be explained before the event. This is a fun event, that everyone can participate in. Like all competition, it requires accuracy, but equally important - strategy!!
