Please join us Sunday, October 4th for a free will offering breakfast! We love offering this to the communities around for a chance to come together, socialize, enjoy a great meal, and support a great cause!

We are looking to raise money for our pheasant projects- hatching, raising, and releasing; as well as getting our youth program started this fall/winter!

We will be having our next youth meeting on Tuesday, May 26th, 7pm; at the clubhouse. We invite any youth 17 years and under who want to be involved in doing things outdoors, learning new skills, and just having fun with other youth in the area to join us! This is a group for YOU to plan what you want to do! No commitment necessary- plan and attend the events you are interested in participating in. If your child(ren) can not attend, please feel free to attend as a parent/guardian to learn more, give opinions, and meet other parents of youth as well. We are starting a youth group at the Sportsmen’s Club- sorry for the short notice- but the first meeting will be tomorrow evening at 7pm. I will post again when we meet next.

And so it begins! Another spring is fast approaching, (although the weather says otherwise), and we are gearing up for another year of raising and releasing pheasants to help the conservation process of these birds.

We have two batches of chicks scheduled to arrive throughout the spring/early summer; as well as Lindsey will be incubating eggs again at the Emanuel Lutheran School! With the success she achieved last year, so did some fundraising to upgrade two of her incubators from last year, to another cabinet style one. We also have 2 more surrogators on the way, due to arrive at the end of the month! Thanks to the following organizations, this upgrade and additions were possible:

Green Isle Fire Dept
Hamburg Fire Dept
Hamburg Hunting and Fishing Club

Thank you so much for your support and believing in this project. It not only helps our club in continuing our raise and release project for conservation, but it makes it possible to bring it into the school and educate the children- who are the future of conservation.

Here’s to another successful year of adding pheasants into the area, and educating our future!
