🇺🇸 Help Us Give Back to Those Who Served! 🇺🇸

The Green Island Little League, in cooperation with the Sons of the American Legion Post 927 and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 927, are proud to host a Veterans Clothing Drive to benefit the Veterans Miracle Center in Albany.

We’re collecting gently used clothing and shoes to help veterans in need.

📍 Donation Location:
The white Veterans Miracle Center donation bin is located in the Green Island Little League parking lot near the batting cages.

🗓️ Collection Dates:
Now through Veterans Day

We need your help! Please tell your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers about this clothing drive and where the donation bin is located. Then, clean out your closets and donate any gently used clothing and shoes you no longer need.

Our veterans can use all the clothing and shoes we can provide, and every donation makes a difference in the life of someone who has served our country.

Thank you for supporting our veterans and helping our community give back to those who have given so much for us. 🇺🇸❤️

You are invited to walk with us in the Green Island Memorial Day Parade! Come out and help us honor our veterans while representing our league and community with pride. ❤️🤍💙

📍 Lineup begins at 5:30 p.m.
🗓 Thursday, May 21, 2026
⏰ Parade kicks off at 6:00 p.m.

Players are encouraged to wear their jerseys and hats! Coaches, families, and teams are all welcome to join us for this special event.

We hope to see all of our Little League families there! ⚾🇺🇸

It’s a beautiful day for baseball! ⚾ 💚

Come up to the Green Island Little League and support the players, watch some great games and enjoy the delicious food at the concession stand (no one beats these prices)!! The parking will be tough in the lot, more parking up on the streets with two gate entrances at both ends of the field to walk down from Cohoes Ave.

1:15pm - Church of the Good Shepherd vs. Dan Dan the Mortgage Man (tball)
