Our dancers might only spend ~4 minutes on stage at a competition, but there’s a whole lot packed into the day!

Whether it’s nailing brand-new steps, finally adding that purple sash to the 🌈 collection, cheering on friends, or taking time to support Heritage’s younger dancers, we love celebrating all the big wins and little moments that come with Irish dancing.

Great feis moments for our Heritage dancers! 🦢🏆

🧡 Sadie Schanel took 1st place at the Rhythm of Ireland Feis in Virginia…and after a long hunt for that purple sash, she finally got it! 💜

💙 Reagan Boucher had an incredible day at the Constitution State Feis, taking 1st overall AND 1st in both rounds! 💯💯💯

💖 Arianna Smith landed top of the box the Constitution State Feis! 🏆

💙 Nora Junio earned 3rd in her Prizewinner reel, slip jig AND hornpipe, plus 2nd in her traditional set, with her best hornpipe yet!

💞 And Harper Gonzalez had a fantastic day with 1st in treble jig, 1st in treble reel, 2nd in reel and 2nd in traditional set!

We’re so proud and can’t wait to see what else this season brings!

Congratulations to Steph Kociancic for getting 1st at the Delaware Feis in the Prelim U9 competition this weekend and making it to Open! ✨

Also, a big congratulations to Giuliella Spadea for placing 6th 💖

Our dancers had a great time at the Catskill Mountain Feis last weekend where Harper Gonzales brought home a third in treble jig, third in Future champs (with new steps!) and fourth in the Reel 🌈

We’re thrilled to see your hard work paying off!

🎓🦢Celebrating Our Heritage Graduates 🦢🎓

One of our favorite traditions at the Heritage Summer Workshop is celebrating our graduating seniors. It’s a tradition that began years ago when our teachers Amy and Terri graduated from high school while at Peter Smith, and we’re so proud to continue it with each new class of Heritage graduates.

This year, we’re celebrating Jack and Emerson.

Jack joined Heritage when he was just 4 years old. Over the years, we’ve watched him grow into an incredible dancer, leader, and role model. He graduated as the Valedictorian of his high school class and will be attending Dartmouth College this fall. We couldn’t be prouder!

Emerson joined the Heritage family after moving to New Jersey around age 11, and she’s been an important part of our school ever since. This fall, she’ll begin an exciting new chapter at Rutgers University.

Watching our dancers grow from their first steps in our studio into confident, accomplished young adults is one of our greatest joys.

Congratulations, Jack and Emerson!
