Important Update: 2026 East River Pop Warner Football Season Cancelled
With a heavy heart, we are sharing the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 East River Pop Warner football season.
Over the past several weeks, we explored every option to make this season happen, including reaching out to families and working to recruit additional players. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, we do not have enough players to safely operate our football program this season.
We know this is disappointing news for our players, families, coaches, and supporters. Our goal has always been to provide a safe, positive, and rewarding football experience for the youth in our community, and without enough players to form complete rosters, we are unable to move forward this year.
We are incredibly grateful to every family who registered and supported East River Pop Warner. Your commitment to our program means so much to us, and we remain confident that we can rebuild participation and return with a stronger program in the future.
Refund Information:
All families who completed registration and submitted payment will automatically receive a full refund. Refund checks will be mailed to the address provided during registration and are expected to be sent by the end of this week. No action is required. If your address has changed or you have questions regarding your refund, please reach out to us at [email protected].
