Anyone planning to get out in the morning to ice fish sturgeon bay better bring a boat or a 40 ft bridge. Crack tight to shore opened up about 30 -35 ft just after dark when the winds switched. Photo was taken close to Sherwood pt.

Fish have been chewing decent the past few days . We’ve been checking ice conditions in the area we’re fishing multiple times daily. We are still sitting on 18-22 inches of ice and we have a cool down coming on Wednesdays so as long as everything holds with the winds, we have on Monday and Tuesday we should be good for a while yet. We currently have the airboat on the ice for a backup safety feature in case any of the cracks start to move.
