2026 Race Season recap, end of year post. It's been a few weeks since our last run at Marshfield. As we begin to plan for next year, let's recap. The start of the year couldn't have been better! Feature wins at the Tundra Spring Classic, and opening night at WIR. Top qualifying efforts weekly, including 3 second place runs. But there was some bad fortune/luck that as the season progressed we just couldn't shake. Not for lack of effort. We ran Norway, Marshfield and Wisconsin International Raceway. And even ventured to race the final night at WIR on the 1/2 mile with a car, we rushed to get ready. Displayed the car at the WIR gate to promote "the duke" race. Also at GSR Kartway, for alumni night. Each year you learn and grow. We definitely did that. Our next steps will depend on the sale of both cars. So stay tuned for that. Lastly, Congratulations to Ty Fietzer on your championship! Thank you to all the 1/4 mile drivers, club, tech guys. Definitely a great group.

Race results, Marshfield Motor speedway. Only a 6 car field. Qualified 4th. First race started 3rd finished 4th. Second race started 2nd. Dnf, broken power steering belt. Thanks to those who put these Special races on for the 1/4 mile late models. Congratulations to Ty Fietzer on sweeping the day. Definitely a learning day. Had an amazing group of helpers in the pits yesterday. Pete Berken, Tim Lowe, Maxwell Hoogland Masyn Liedke. Also Thanks to Braison Bennet for all the advice and set up tips. Thanks to Ty Fietzer for the parts. Overall a fun day. This will be our last race of the 2026 season. Thanks for all the support this year from all our sponsors and supporters.

Final race of the 2026 season for the 1/4 mile Late Models. This Saturday we will be at the Fall shootout at Marshfield Motor Speedway. It's a great opportunity to run with our class on a half mile. Should be fun. Weather is looking to be great! Full day of racing with many classes and the Tundra series. See you there!

1/4 mile late model
(Grey, Red and Black car). 2015 Port City.
602 crate, 650 holley, Saginaw transmission. Richmond 4.11 rear, wildwood hubs and brakes. Fresh Appleton rack. Some spare parts and gears. Race ready minus seat. Asking
$10,000 Could be raced also at Slinger 602 Craters.

Early 2000's Port City (Orange and Black car)
CRA sealed 604. Motor will need valve springs.
650 Holley carb, Brinn 2 speed transmission, Quarter master aluminum drive shaft.
486 rear with aluminum axle housings.
Wildwood hubs and brakes. Sweet steering rack. No seat or lead. Asking $7500 Could be a good Pro Late with a bit of updates. Car is straight. Or a vintage racer as well.

Race recap 1/2 mile. Definitely a learning night. The car was a bit too tight for qualifying, endeding up 14th of 17 cars. Heat finished 7th of 11 cars. Feature motor issue showed up at lap 7 DNF. But we got the car handling better and looked pretty good for the first time out. Thanks to Brian, Mitch, Parker, Isabel Mike, and Dawn, for the help in the pits. So appreciate it. Now to address a couple issues with both cars, and figured out how we want to proceed next year. Kaden loved being up on the 1/2 mile. So some decisions will have to be made. The 1/4 mile car is currently for sale, if you know anyone looking to get into a great class, that can travel and is affordable with tire rule and running on pump gas. After a long few shop nights "The Mutt" should be ready for some Thursday night thunder on the half mile! Big thanks to Stumpf for the tires and Michael Anthony for the half mile tips. Tuesday night practice. Turning some laps on the half mile. Ran some pretty decent times, low 21 seconds. But we had issues with the motor going flat after a couple laps. So we need to address that. So we have some garage time to put in tomorrow. Should we find the issue. We are planning on making our debut in the pro lates this Thursday. Watch for a race update.

We decided to come run for the last 1/4 mile late model race at WIR and the night started off strong, car was good for practice and we ended up with a solid p2 qualifying effort just shy of quick time. The first feature we rolled off 4th and bad luck struck again with our mount for the right side trailing arm breaking off and ending our run. So we got the mount welded back on thanks to Ethan Beattie and sawyer effertz. For the second feature we had to start in the back and ended up running to a P6 finish. Thanks to everyone who came out to watch and support me. Congratulations to Ty Fietzer on the championship! And both feature winners. And of course we couldn't do it without our amazing sponsors ⬇️
