Every walleye guy knows the uneasy feeling launching the boat to high skies and calm seas 🥴 Gretchan and Al kicked off a busy block of trips for me, and we were met with not ideal conditions.

Fortunately for us, the bite is absolutely incredible. By the time I started setting rod number 5, we already had 3 fish on, on the starboard side!

Most trips lately have been like this, and fishing has been a little more like catching! Something you don’t always hear me say.

Asked my crew if they wanted to cancel due to weather and they said, “nope, we’re fishing!”.

Some of the most unreal fishing I’ve experienced this summer. Always fun when you can’t keep the lines in mixed with some Green Bay style waves. We would have taken more pictures, but everything was soaked!

We’ve been putting in some long days the past few weeks and it’s been yielding some incredible fish. Here’s a few snap shots of what we’ve been up to.

Looking to fill a couple of August afternoons. The bite has been a ton of fun, and customers have been handling some giants as well as some nice batches of eaters take home.

Afternoons open are August 17, 18, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 as well as Sunday the 30th fully open.

Love when Kyle and Brittney come to town. We sure have a blast regardless of how the fishing is. Fortunately for us the bites been solid!

Always love blocking off a Saturday on the guide schedule and heading north to fish these derbs. Great people, awesome fishing, and a superb walleye club to be a part of.

Boys day out casting up some walleyes 🥳

They weren’t to fond of holding them but sure enjoyed catching them 😂 biggest was 28.5!

What do ya do when you’re dealt with 15-20 outta the north on the bay? Clip some boards on and roll with it 😎

The temp gauge was the MVP today. Took a little while to put the puzzle together but once we did we had a hoot. Awesome morning hunting down some big ones with an awesome group of dudes!

Fun and quick day with Kyle and his son Keegan. Keegan wanted to spend his birthday jiggin’ up perch so that’s what we did!

Had some time to kill after their perch limit so we played catch, pic, release with some walleyes until the wind got annoying. Talk about well rounded fun day on the bay!

Still some time for some summer fun!

A lot of days looking like this lately. 2026 has been an absolute riot! The amount you can learn when fish are “biting” is mind boggling.

Still have a few days open for July.

My August Door County schedule is filling quick! Quite a few week day afternoons open. Weekend availability is extremely limited. Miscellaneous AMs and PMs available on August 2, 14, 16, 23, 29, 30. These days will fill quickly.
