DELLS WEEKEND

WISCONSIN DELLS WEEKEND

We don’t have our set schedule yet for the 18 & 19 but we will be playing in the morning wave to start on Saturday meaning we will most likely play at 8am. So please plan to stay Friday night if possible to ensure everyone is there on time.

A few things to remember that I’ve found helpful

1. Parking: you have to pay for parking per car and it is CASH ONLY. You will get a pass for the day. The parking process takes a good 15-20 min depending on the time you arrive due to the amount of teams that will be at this tournament. Please allow yourself ample time to pay, and park/ drop your athletes off before their report time.

2. Please make sure you read through the spectator rules on the website. Seating, carry ins, etc. can all be found there:

3. Although we are in the dells and we encourage your athletes to have TONS of fun on and off the court, please be mindful in water parks of injuries, and how worn out the kiddos can get from climbing up all of those water park steps. Have fun, but please make sure to be in good wellbeing for playing time!

4. We will be sending some electronic forms your way within a couple weeks that need to be filled out before you arrive in the dells. More to come

5. We will be playing in “the bubble” with 30 ish courts. It is LOUD. If you are someone who struggles with hearing or have kiddos that may be overstimulated by all the noise, we suggest some ear plugs!

6. As always players are required to stay in the facility during this event until our responsibilities are finished for the day.

We are excited to announce the Spring Youth Volleyball registration is open. We’re offering opportunities for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 14. See all programs below!

VolleyTots and VolleyKids: These programs are for 3-9 year olds looking to get a taste of the sport. These programs are designed to work on volleyball related hand-eye coordination and athletic movements for young players, Registration can be found here.
Dates: Tuesdays, March 14th- April 4th
Times: Tots- 3:30-4pm, Kids 4-4:45pm
Fee: $45 Tots, $55 Kids (includes T-shirt)

Spring Youth Academy: This program is for players in 4th-8th grade. Open to all boys and girls looking to play this Spring. Also, a great opportunity for our 12s,13s,14s Regional and Prep players to continue playing after their season is completed. Registration can be found here.
Youth Academy I is for athletes who are new to One Wisconsin and participated in Youth Academy yet or graduated from Youth Academy I
Youth Academy II is for athletes who have participated in Youth Academy before, graduated from Youth Academy I, or have played a 7th or 8th grade school season

Dates: Sundays and Wednesdays, March 26th - April 30th (no session on Easter)
Times: 5-6:30pm
Fee: $250 (includes T-shirt)

Morning everyone! Just a couple of announcements.

1. I posted the tourney info for this weekend

2. Reminder if you have not, sign up for our work weekend. If you are absolutely not available to make it or cannot find someone to cover your shift, you will need to contact Cat and I so we can find you another weekend to work.

3. Update for Sunday, Feb 12: I know we're not scheduled to have practice this Sunday since we play, but Coach Sandy is offering a free clinic on drills players can do at home to get more reps. It will be from 6:00 - 7:00 and parents are welcome to attend to see/hear what we're looking for in each skill. This is optional, but it's a great opportunity! No registration required.
