A longtime leader within the Special Olympics movement, Jenny serves as a Global Messenger, Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) Athlete Ambassador, and member of the Athlete Leadership Council. π She says Special Olympics has helped her build confidence, develop leadership skills, and form friendships around the world. Once mostly non-verbal and hesitant to meet new people, Jenny now speaks to groups, advocates for inclusion, and proudly shares her story with others. π
Jenny has earned numerous accomplishments throughout her journey, including competing at the 2003 World Games in Ireland and the 2006 USA Games in Iowa, both in gymnastics. ππ
She has also competed nationally in figure skating and plans to return to national competition in 2026 at the State Games of America. βΈοΈβ¨
When she's not training, Jenny works as a lobby host at McDonald's and enjoys reading, completing word search puzzles, creating diamond art, and making crafts. ππ¨ She also trains and competes in figure skating outside of Special Olympics. βΈοΈ
Jenny says she admires her "Blue Line family," the law enforcement officers who support athletes through LETR and help make a difference in their lives. ππ A fun fact about Jenny is that she was involved in FFA during high school and raised baby goats. π
Jenny is excited to represent Montana at the 2026 USA Games, meet athletes from across the country, and build new friendships through competition. To prepare, she trains year-round with her gymnastics coaches and stays active through figure skating. πͺπ€ΈββοΈβΈοΈππ
