The 2026 NRA Youth Education Summit Applications are Now Open!
Eligible Students Apply by January 18th

Do you know an outstanding young leader? Now's the time to encourage current high school sophomore's and juniors to apply to the NRA Youth Education Summit (Y.E.S.)!

Entry into the Y.E.S. program requires submission of a completed application form, high school transcript, a three-page essay on the Second Amendment, a one-page personal statement, three letters of recommendation, and a virtual interview.

The Youth Education Summit is a week-long competitive fellowship in Washington, D.C. enables high school sophomores and juniors to explore their passion for the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights and our American government.

Grab your gear and join us at the 200 yard range for the public sight-in day. We have the gate open until 4pm. The 200yd is open to everyone!
We have a couple of Range Safety Officers present on the line.
Check in at the classroom before heading for a bench.
Also, the middle gate has the blue lock on it. Members can still use the open ranges down there.

Are you ready for hunting season? Have you sighted in your rifle yet?

Beat the rush and join us at the 200 yard range on Sunday, October 5th and Saturday, October 18th . We will have the gate open starting at 10am until 4pm. This event is open to the public, as well!

Range Safety Officers will be on-site to run the range and to help out getting your rifle on target.
Eye and ear protection are mandatory. We do have a few sets, but it is always best to bring your own.

Change to the change.
There will be work being done on the main road tomorrow. Not a lot of details right now, but there should not be any impact to access.
However, the silhouette and 300 yard ranges will be closed until Friday.
Bear with us. It's out of our hands right now. Rest assured, the roads will be awesome and you'll be back to shooting on the 300 and silhouette as soon as possible.

The 300 and silhouette ranges are open again.
The roadwork that was posted yesterday has been postponed because the roadbed is too wet for the equipment and application of the stabilizing polymer.
Please stay off of the road going down the silhouette range. To prevent potential rutting and damage to the road, we will be placing a barricade tomorrow. It will be blocked until the work is finished.
We will keep posting updates as soon as we can.

**Urgent Notice**
The silhouette and 300 yard ranges will be closed tomorrow and Thursday for road work.
Sorry for the short notice.

It's always a good idea to check the gfssc.org website before heading to the Complex.

Spring is hear and arriving with spring is some road maintenance. Currently we are on the schedule for road maintenance on the Silhouette Road and the Main Road this month. We will make every attempt to give membership as much notice as possible, but do to crew availability and weather, there might....

Sorry for the short notice again, but there will be work being done on the main road on April 15th and 16th.
There will be a flagger posted at the turnoff to direct traffic. While we do not anticipate any closures, there will be some delays.

Please be patient with the work crews. We're trying to get a jump on fixing the washboards while the weather holds.

Folks,
Did you get your membership renewal mailed back to us yet? Have you received your cards and hang tag?

If you haven't gotten your membership stuff by 12 weeks from when you sent it in, let us know! We want to make sure that everyone can get to the ranges when the weather gets better.

The GFSSC Annual Meeting is on January 14th at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held at the MSU College of Great Falls, Room B101.
Park in the South parking lot and use the South enterance.
