- We will be postponing classes tonight due to the weather conditions and advisories from GFPD. All drivers are commenting on visibility and icy conditions. Please be safe out there and we look forward to seeing you on the mats soon! We apologize for any inconvenience but as always our main priority is the safety of our students.
UPDATE 2/17/26 4:55PM
What a crazy driving day! From 9am to 4:45PM your hero team of 911 dispatchers, for all of Cascade County, took approximately 40 reports of non-injury, injury, hit and run, and misc crashes (running into curbs, slide offs, high centered on median, etc). At one point, 911 Supervisor Amy was juggling information for at least ten crashes at one time, six of them in the same location. Amy was a true pro as she kept all of the vehicle/driver information attached to the correct report and kept up with officers' needs, all while continuing to dispatch welfare checks, disturbances, etc.
Huge thanks to...
🚨 Crews from Great Falls Public Works Streets Division and Montana Department of Transportation for being out all day working on the roads.
🚨 Tow truck drivers who shuttled crashed vehicles all over town, then came back for more
🚨 Great Falls Fire Rescue for responding to so many crashes.
🚨 Cascade County Sheriff/Coroner's Office for helping block roads and responding to crashes outside the city limits
🚨 Great Falls media outlets for helping get safety information out
UPDATE 2/17/26 12:05PM
⚠️ Please slow down! We need your help to minimize crashes occuring all over town.
⚠️ In the last 20 minutes we've taken 6 crash reports between I-15 Exit 0 and Fox Farm Rd on Country Club Blvd (10th Ave S).
⚠️ We've shut down the Exit 0 ramps on I-15, until the crashes are cleared. ⚠️
⚠️ Montana Department of Transportation has laid sand and are working hard to put down more

Stuck trucks, stalled cars, and lots of crashes! Officers and Crash Investigators are tackling multiple issues on Great Falls' roads right now.
🚫 We recommend you avoid 10th Ave S, if you can.
We're working four crashes on 10th Ave S (three between 2nd St and Fox Farm Rd) and the traffic signal at 20th St has semis backed up as they struggle to get up the hill.
🚦 SPO Meyer just turned the light at 20th St to a flashing yellow.
🚓 Do not cut off a semi or large vehicle that may be going slow up a hill, once they stop they have a very hard time starting again.
⚠️ Please slow down and be patient with other drivers.
