Our first call as the new owners of Montana River Outfitters came from this gentleman. His daughter drew her bucket list Smith River permit. She had been putting in for years. They planned the trip for months. Family and friends from coast to coast were coming together for this adventure. Then water levels dropped to critical levels. They thought they might be forced to cancel their trip. Then the rains came...they launched mid July with perfect weather, steady flows, and excellent fishing! We love to be a part of these stories and get to share in these experiences. ❤️

We have two boats launching with a very excited group that was afraid the water levels were too low. And then Mother Nature blessed us with much needed rain!
We have two coming off the water today and ready to launch if anyone is interested in taking advantage of the water level before it gets too low on the Smith.
