This is a big deal. Glad to see Sportrock Climbing Centers setting new climbing standards.
Jeremy Hardin, Sportrock Senior Director and Director of Routesetting, will be the Chief Routesetter for bouldering at the Yeti Climbing National Championships. The event will take place on November 9th & 10th at The Spot in Denver, Colorado.
This is a tremendous honor, to say the least. The Yeti National Championships is the most elite USA Climbing event of the year and will “provide a first look at the athletes that will make the Paris 2024 Olympic Team.” The routesetting crew will have their work cut out for them, as they are tasked with pushing the best American competition climbers to their absolute limit.
Jeremy’s designation as Chief Routesetter also highlights one of the things that sets Sportrock apart; some of the best routesetting in the country. The investment in and professionalization of routesetting is at the core of our mission – it is this focus that has fostered home-grown talent like Jeremy.
Join us in congratulating Jeremy! He tries to fly under the radar, but if you happen to come in early enough to see him zooming around the gym, let him know he makes us proud!

Here is Jeremy putting up a problem with holds from Sportrock Climbing League sponsor Bold Climbing climbing. The first of three competitions was a freaking blast. We will be releasing photos from the event soon. We can’t wait for next month’s!
