Most people say they have health insurance but insurance is not the same thing as having a health plan.
Insurance is primarily there to step in when something is already going wrong. Doctor visits, medications, procedures, injuries, hospital stays, and disease management.
And even then, insurance doesn’t necessarily cover everything.
You can still be responsible for deductibles, copays, coinsurance, out-of-network costs, medications or services your policy doesn’t cover and claims can be limited or denied based on the terms of the policy.
So, think about that: You can spend years paying for insurance and still end up paying thousands out of pocket once your health starts failing.
Insurance has its place. But its job is not to build a stronger, healthier, more capable version of you.
The medical system is often trying to get you back to: Stable, Acceptable, Good enough.
We’re looking at something completely different.
Can you stay strong enough to work?
Can you keep your mobility?
Can you climb stairs, travel, carry groceries, play with your grandkids and continue doing the things you enjoy?
How much muscle are you losing?
Is your visceral fat increasing?
Is your cardiovascular fitness declining?
Are you physically preparing yourself to remain independent as you age.
Insurance helps pay for healthcare when you need it. We want to help you build your health before things get bad enough that you’re forced to use.
