Junior Bison Take Lead And Never Look Back In Win Over Allendale/ Saint Marys

Junior Bison won big over Allendale/ Saint Marys 20-5 on Monday.
Junior Bison got on the board in the first inning after a passed ball scored one run.
Allendale/ Saint Marys captured the lead, 4-1, in the bottom of the first when Alayna M drew a walk, scoring one run, and Presley S doubled, scoring three runs.
Junior Bison tied the game in the top of the second thanks to a hit by a pitch, and a triple by Adelyn C.
Junior Bison flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring six runs on four hits to take the lead, 10-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Adelyn following a 6-pitch at-bat that drove in two.
Junior Bison scored 10 runs on three hits in the top of the fourth inning. Sophie H drew a walk, scoring one run, Addy G drew a walk, scoring one run, Mellody R singled, scoring one run, Adelyn drew a walk, scoring one run, Larissa C drew a walk, scoring one run, Peyton H drew a walk, scoring one run, and Cara D singled, scoring two runs.
Sophie began the game for Junior Bison. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and five runs over four innings, striking out 10 and walking five. Hunter N started the game for Allendale/ Saint Marys. The hurler gave up eight hits and 15 runs over three innings, striking out eight and walking seven.
Junior Bison collected 10 hits in the game. Adelyn, Larissa, and Mellody each collected two hits for Junior Bison. Adelyn went 2-for-3 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Sophie paced Junior Bison with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting 13 walks for the game. Marlee C stole two bases. Junior Bison stole eight bases in the game. Junior Bison didn't commit a single error in the field. Marlee had the most chances in the field with eight.
Alayna and Presley each drove in one run for Allendale/ Saint Marys. Presley went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Allendale/ Saint Marys in hits. Hunter stole five bases. Allendale/ Saint Marys had patience at the plate, amassing five walks for the game. Allendale/ Saint Marys stole seven bases in the game.
