We finally had a chance to get together one last time for the 2025-26 season! The East Carter Golf Team would like to congratulate Colton McGuire as the 2025 Raider of the Year!

We’ll miss our seniors next year but we have a solid group ready to step up for the 2026-27 season! Good luck Colton, William, and Jonah! You’ll always be welcome around the program!

What a season and what a career! Senior Emi Ledford competed in the KHSAA State First Round at Wi******er Country Club yesterday. Emi tied for 25th overall and tied for the 15th individual spot to advance to the State Finals. She competed in a playoff with two other girls for that spot. Unfortunately, things didn’t end the way everyone wanted and Emi’s East Carter golf career ended yesterday.
Let’s all congratulate Emi on an outstanding career! Emi will go down as one of, if not the most talented, golf career at East Carter High School!
- 5-Time KHSAA State Competitor
- 2024 Region 12 Runner-Up
- 2023 and 2025 KYGCA All-State Tournament competitor (Top 15 teams and Top 21 Individuals in the state)
Thank you Emi for setting the example of what it takes to be an All-State golf player!

Today marks the end of the 2025-2026 golf season! The Raiders played at Laurel Oaks last week and finished the season with a team score of 358 - led by senior William Burton’s 86. Other scores were:
Colton McGuire - 87
Eli Harper - 90
Lane Walker - 95
Jonah Clark - 95

What a season for the Raiders with tons of growth. We’ll miss our seniors - Colton, Jonah and William - but we have a bright future ahead!

Tomorrow evening at Hidden Cove Gokf Course, we’re going to honor our three seniors - Jonah Clark, Colton McGuire and William Burton!

We’ve been blessed to have these young men be apart of our program and can’t wait to honor them tomrrow with some food, stories and a little golf! Come support our seniors tomorrow evening at the golf course!

A few days late but your Raiders were at Irish Hills Golf Course Saturday at the Montgomery County Invitational. It was a cold and rainy day but the boys pushed through and finished with a team score of 349.

We also traveled to Creekside Golf Course in West Virginia on Monday for a tri-match with Spring Valley and Ripley WV. The Raiders finished second for the evening!
