Hello, and welcome to the kickoff of the 2024 golf season. I am Dino Lucchesi, the PGA golf professional at Grayslake Golf Practice Center, Ballybunion Golf Learning Center, and Precision Golf Training.
The 2024 Chicago Golf Show is this weekend, February 23-25, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. I will teach at the Illinois PGA booth #1107 on Friday, February 23, from 3-6 pm and Saturday, February 24, from 1-6 pm. You can stop by for your free 7-minute swing or putting stroke lesson.

It’s not the club it’s me... Did you know most golfers think custom-fit golf clubs are only for the better golfer? Nothing could be further from the truth. As a matter of fact, poorly fitting golf clubs are one of the biggest factors for making bad golf swings. The fact is - you have to make your swing fit your equipment. It should be the other way around, don’t you think.

Monday was Dominic’s last high school golf event as a Grayslake Central Ram, and what a fantastic finish to the season! Dominic finished 1st place in all three qualifying events, Conference, Regionals, and Sectionals, to advance to State this weekend at ISU in Bloomington. A sincere thank you to his coaches, Jim Mazetta and Brendon Kick for their hard work over the last four years.
