BALLET 🩰
Ballet promotes correct body alignment, traditional dance etiquette and classical pedagogy. Dancers will learn classical dance terminology as they move through a traditional class with barre and center work.

Attire: Athletic clothing, secure hair, and ballet shoes.

MUSICAL THEATER JAZZ 🎭
Musical Theater Jazz is an upbeat and energetic style of dance similar to our standard jazz class. In Musical Theater Jazz, dancers will specifically focus on theatrical style, characterization and performance skills.

Attire: Athletic clothing, secure hair, and jazz shoes/socks/ barefoot.

Our Adult Group Ballroom classes are a great way to ignite connection and recreation with your partner.

6 week course (October 16th/November 20th)

▪️Bronze 1: Foxtrot and Swing▪️
Designed for dancers with a foundation in Foxtrot and East Coast Swing, this Bronze 1 class builds upon the basics with a focus on expanding your repertoire and refining your technique. We’ll begin each session with a brief review of foundational patterns before moving into more advanced figures, improved lead-and-follow skills, musicality, timing, and overall dance quality.

This class is perfect for those who have completed a beginner course or have prior social dance experience and are ready to grow in confidence, precision, and enjoyment on the dance floor.

This version sets the expectation that students should already know the basics while emphasizing progression and technique.

Level: Intermediate

Attire: Comfortable clothing and dance shoes or flexible footwear

▪️Foundations: Social Dance Prep▪️
Whether you’re stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or looking to refresh the basics, this Foundations class is designed to help you feel comfortable and confident in social dance settings. Featuring Hustle, Rumba, and Foxtrot, you’ll learn essential footwork, timing, partner connection, and lead-and-follow skills in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

The focus is on building a strong foundation through practical patterns and techniques that can be used at weddings, parties, and other social events.

No prior dance experience is necessary—just come ready to learn, move, and have fun.

Level: Beginner

Attire: Comfortable clothing and dance shoes or flexible footwear

Registration Opening Dates:

Priority (Enrolled In Summer): Monday, July 13th
Returning Student: Saturday, July 18th
New Student: Monday, July 20th

💻 HOW TO ENROLL:

1.) Make an account online or go to your parent portal at www.liatrisdance.com under the “register” tab.

2.) Check the boxes of the classes you are enrolling in.

3.) Pay online.

4.) Take dance classes.
