Warbler's Hideaway A Northern Michigan Recreational Community 920 acres over 400 of whiich consist of Common Property for the use of all members.

The property emcompasses the East and West Branches of Big Creek. Surrounded by Kirtland Warblers habitat. Fishing on premises and North Branch of the AuSable just down the road with in a mile. 45 unit campground open to the public.

The Tom turkeys are getting ready for the breeding season. This is my backyard everyday. We throw out corn for them in the winter . I also have a flock of Hens that join the males occasionally. When both groups are here it totals near 70 turkeys.

Fairview Market on M33 north of Mio is having a spectacular meat sale. Bulk valve packages. 10 # Ground chuck $5.49 # , Round meat roasts $5.99 #. Several cuts of pork $2.68 #. I highly recommend their butcher dept. The roasts were large enough I cut them in half to freeze. Today February 9 thru Saturday.

There is a roadkill deer just north of Warblers Hideaway on the east side of Lovells road. There were two eagles around the carass and Ravens. Can someone go pull it off the road. Eagles can't take flight fast enough to avoid most traffic. It's 130 pm Monday. I am on the way to an important Dr appointment and could not stop. I called DNR they said no one available to do it. ( and several other LAME reasons. ) Which really shocked me. There is a curve there which makes its invisible until you are right on it. ( between Warblers and Snow Trak)
