Tonight at Delta Dentals Hadlock field the Portland Sea Dogs will be honoring the state champs at 5pm on the field for their fantastic run ending in the New England regional championship game. Come on down to the game to give them a final cheer for there incredible run representing the state of Maine!!

MAINE Proud! Way to be boys!

This teams act of sportsmanship and taking the high road in defeat sleeps to the character of this special group. They wanted to make Maine proud and I would say they did a great job of that!

Best of luck to Bridgewater in Williamsport!

The team from Maine didn’t cry or sulk, they stood there and applauded the team from Massachusetts… they fought hard during the game , but when it was over they showed great class and sportsmanship , and that’s the way it should always be. When something bad happens it’s covered by every news orgization… why doesn’t that happen when something good happens
These Maine kids had fought their way through the tournament (they'd already lost once to Bridgewater earlier and had to win their way back into the final). They knew exactly how hard it was and how big that celebration was for the Bridgewater boys.
So they stood there, watched and applauded. No drama, no bitterness-just respect for a team that earned it. That's the good stuff.

Tune in live tomorrow night on ESPN as Maine gets a rematch vs Massachusetts for a winner take all championship game!

Winner progresses to Williamsport to represent New England in the LLWS!

The boys are back on the field tomorrow. They will be competing in the regional semi final game.

The winner will face Massachusetts Thursday for a chance to punch the famous Williamsport ticket!

This game will be aired at 1pm on regular ESPN.

One of the amazing things about little league baseball is the opportunity to create friendships with new people from potentially all over the world.

The Maine boys quickly bonded with their bunk mates Maryland.

Win or lose all these boys now have new friends they never would have had without this baseball experience.

Maine + Maryland = a new baseball brotherhood.

Berlin Little league- you have a great group of kids and coaches and Maine is glad we got to meet them.

The continued run in Bristol is amazing and certainly exciting for Maine and the teams families. That being said the extended stay does rack up costs for the families.
