BB Shot Duck Calls Custom duck call makers BB Shot Duck Calls is owned and operated by me, Bradley Bergeron. Now I am not knocking acrylic calls, no!----not at all.

I started making Duck Calls around 2011 because I wanted an all wooden duck call and a different sound. I saw there were a million duck calls on the market but very few of them still used all wood. Sure you can buy a Cocobolo wood or a Bocote wood call from just about all of the big manufacturers, but you end up with an acrylic bottom and tone board. They have their place. If you want to throw out

a 20 note hail call that will deafen the guy in the blind 1,000 yards away, you buy an acrylic call. My wooden calls can only make you deft from 800 yards away. Ha ha just kidding. But seriously, wood calls have a different sound. Better or worse, louder or quieter, they are different. So why shouldn’t all tone boards be made of acrylic, they are easier to make, easier to maintain and more cost effective, right? Sure they are, they sound great to. But___--remember that every duck sounds a little different and the more variety you have in your calling, the more realistic you will sound to a duck or ducks. So I use my 20 years of wood working experience to build all wooden duck calls by hand, one at a time, from different woods. I currently build very few, but I am looking to ramp up my business as long as my calls are selling. So if you are looking for craftsmanship, beauty, and perhaps a little different sound, look no further.

So, I just put the finish on top of one of the Coach “O” signed 2018 model LSU duck calls.

This is the only one that was sold and the only one that will be sold. It was sold at a charity auction last week.

He signed a total of 4 call for me.

This is number 2/4.

Number 1/4 will be kept in my safe and displayed on special occasions 😂.

Number 3/4 will be raffled in a couple weeks.

Number 4/4 ?????? 🤔 might keep that one too!!!

Big shout out to Coach “O” for flying in, just for the auction. I believe the auction made over $15k for local charity.

BB Shot call bands are hand cut from 1.25 inch stainless steal tubing. Then they are epoxied on our calls and hand polished. You will not find some cheap, thin aluminum band on a B.B. Shot call. No sir, they are not your run of the mill store bought calls.
