The Archery and Bow Club "TAB"

The Archery and Bow Club "TAB" TAB Archery Club hosts archery events. The club is part of the South Carolina Archery Association (SCAA) and Western Carolina Archery Circuit (WCAC).

At a recent SCAA Circuit shoot (not at Keowee) some participants who were entered in the 3D Circuit, were overheard discussing scoring. This issue was discussed tonight at a SCAA leadership meeting. Apparently there was a misunderstanding when scoring 12’s, they understood that both the upper and lower 12 ring were simultaneously in play, and this understanding was accepted by the group. This is not the case. The rules from the SCAA website are included below. These 12 ring rules also mirror ASA scoring rules. Please help each other police the archery game. Also as a reminder, all shot arrows count, there are no redo’s for a miss.

We are saddened that a long time member of TABs has passed away. Frank always worked hard to set up great courses, deliver hotdogs on the range, and have a story to share. Please remember his family and friends during this time.

View Frank "Bud" Kimbrell's obituary, send flowers and find service dates, and sign the guestbook.
