The Ladies of Fast and Fit Women's Fitness Studio are always up for a challenge and this week we are writing cards to Hospice of the Foothills clients. As it is difficult to shop in person, our very own Joyce Scott, Trainer Extraordinaire, and who is so artistically creative, gave us some ideas for those of us, like me, who are artistically challenged.
If you would like to participate in this sweet and thoughtful program for Hospice, the information is on the flyer posted, along with a picture of a card that Joyce created. Also, here are some ideas of how to “get it done”.
Fold a piece of 8 ½ x 11 paper in half and half again. Cut out a pretty photo from a magazine or from one of your own cards you received. Or find a lovely photograph you can cut to fit. Glue it on the front of your card. Find some favorite short quotes to write on the inside. Sign “From a friend of Hospice of the Foothills”. Make as many as you would like. Place them all in one envelope and either mail or drop off at Hospice of the Foothills, 11270 Rough & Ready Hwy., Grass Valley, CA 95945. BTW if you don't have an envelope for your card, don't worry because Hospice will take care of that.
You can find quotes on-line, if you do a search, or go to a greeting card company website and pick up some ideas. And of course, cards can also be purchased. This card was made from an old Valentine Card.
We all want to feel needed, and this is definitely a need for these special people.
Thank You.
