Welcome to the 76th annual Waterloo Hunt Club Hunter/Jumper horse shows at the quaint and beautiful Waterloo Hunt Club in Grass Lake, MI. We look forward to producing these two back-to-back US Equestrian sanctioned events every year! As always, our goal is to provide attendees with multiple opportunities to earn points towards season end finals & awards, but most importantly to allow you to spend
valuable time with your horses and friends in a family friendly setting. Dating back to 1945 the Waterloo Hunt Club is steeped in tradition. Because of our long-standing history, the Waterloo Hunt Club Horse Shows carries the prestigious US Equestrian Heritage Horse Show Status β an honor we are extremely proud of. Notables like Chrystine Jones Tauber, Katie Monahan Prudent, Tamara Provost, Teddi Ismond, and Polly Howard all share the prestige of being chosen as a Waterloo Hunt Best Child Rider. These legends, like so many others, have become successful horse trainers, professional riders, judges, and US Show Jumping Olympians.
2022 highlights include a $2500 USHJA National Hunter Derby which will be held in Rings 1 and 2 on Saturday afternoon; Hunter/Jumper Classics for all, plus the popular $1500 Waterloo Hunt Club Pony Hunter Derby which is open to all ponies and junior riders. New to the schedule is a $1000 Low Adult/Children's 2'6" Hunter Derby to be held Sunday morning. As always we will be featuring just about every type of hunter, jumper, and equitation class imaginable so that the entire barn can enjoy our family style format.
