Help us build a lasting tribute to the rich history of Black watermen on the Chesapeake Bay! Having a target installation date of July 4, 2026 (America's 250th anniversary), the Black Watermen's Monument at historic Kent Narrows will be a life-sized interactive sculpture that tells the stories of the African American community's work in Maryland's economic powerhouse: the seafood harvesting and processing industry.
You'll enjoy projects from Eastern Shore artists Jay Fleming, Dale Hall, Tilghman Hemsley IV, and David Sites, along with unlimited beer and wine, food from the Shore's finest restaurants, auctions, games, music, and more.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to support public art! Buy your ticket by October 25 to save $10. Tables of 8 also available. See you there!
