Sharing some of my staple weekly grocery items. Not that you could tell by my bright smile, but I've been really enjoying the benefits of introducing more animal fats to my daily regimen. Eating these minimally processed to unprocessed products and remaining metabolically healthy has made it possible to consume a higher fat content without the excessive weight gain typically thought to occur. There have also been drastic changes in gut health, increased rate of post workout recovery, as well as decreased inflammation in my joints. From my personal experience and research I would absolutely recommend individuals do their own deep dive into the benefits and healing properties of some of these products.

It's no secret that when something isn't producing results anymore, or at all, that you're required to educate yourself in order to progress. Efficiency in fitness stems from the desire to continuously improve. The individual who doesn't refine their regimen and disregards criticism will eventually stagnate and quit. The goal should always be to remain a student and expand into new methodologies in the quest to perform at your highest capability. Not everything will be the right methodology for you, but you must at least be adventurous for the sake of your own adaptation and evolution.
Reading up on some new (to me) training techniques. Let's give it a go.

Even though I'm not in competition prep I still practice posing to keep that proprioception strong and those neural pathways trained. Personally, the lat spread has always been the most difficult pose for me so I've been practicing this one more of late. Sitting roughly at 190 lbs bodyweight.

Something I've noticed of late is that people don't get verbal enough anymore when working out with others. Since returning to the commercial gym scene I've mainly witnessed excessive phone usage and quiet meandering, but not a lot of intensity, or comradery. Providing and receiving verbal cues are an extremely valuable tool for mental stimulation and focus while lifting. It's definitely something we need to encourage in the fitness community. My favorite moments in the gym, aside from PR's, is when someone asks for a spot. For me it's a chance to witness someone get motivated and surprise themselves. I get to play a part in that and visually see someone get in-the-zone when I encourage them. I especially love when someone has a number of reps in their head and after we're done they've exceeded that number. Such a positive and rewarding contribution that builds healthy relationships in the fitness community.

Taking a short intermission from the in-person training to focus on a new opportunity that presented itself. Training people is a strong passion of mine and that hasn't changed. There will be a time for Iron Head's to ramp back up, but for now I'm very excited for this chance to get involved in technology again!
The online exercise library will remain available to those who are currently subscribed and those who would like to subscribe.
In the meantime I will continue to post fitness related content! Thanks for the support friends! 🙌

I really want to thank all the individuals that subscribed to the Iron Library this past week! I hope you all enjoy the exercise videos and you find them as helpful as I know you will. I'll be working hard to create and add more fitness instructionals for you on a regular basis. More content to come!
